Travel
On Monday, Jul 27, please follow the directions to
the BNMRZ Garching
campus. There will be signs with the EMBO logo that will direct you
to the seminar room where the course will start at 13:30.
All participants and instructors will be staying
in the Hotel
Ludwig in Garching.
The hotel is only one stop (by subway U6) from the Department
Chemie at the Garching
campus of TUM, where the course is held.
To get to and from the hotel please take the U6
subway line.
For using the U6 subway it is recommended to buy
a multiple-ride ticket ("Streifenkarte"), available at every MVV
vending machine (11€). For the "short ride" between the Hotel
(Station "Garching" and the BNMRZ (Station
"Garching-Forschungszentrum" you have to stamp (invalidate) only one
stripe for each ride. IMPORTANT: you have to stamp it BEFORE you
enter the
train!!! - the little blue stamp machines are located at the station
entries or on the platforms - NOT in the
trains!.
