Good introductory book describing all the details for 1- and 2-dimensional, homonuclear NMR + general ideas. No mathematical effort.

Robin K. Harris, Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, Longman, Essex, 1983, reprinted 1997.
Very thorough and very detailed introductory and (!) reference NMR book.
