New BNMRZ Building & 1.2 GHz Spectrometer Approved

April 29, 2013: The German Federal Science Council (Wissenschaftsrat) has approved the 33 Mio € application of the BNMRZ for a new dedicated building, including a 1.2 GHz NMR spectrometer, which is cosupported by the Helmholtz Zentrum München. The building is scheduled to be finished in 2017, delivery of the new NMR spectrometer is planned for 2018 (press release of TU München).

Breaking news: the new BNMRZ building, including a 700 m2 NMR hall, biochemistry lab and office space for five research groups, is finished (almost 1/2 year earlier than planned)!

It was officially handed over to TUM on Feb. 3, 2017. After some additional preparation, the groups are scheduled to move in March 2017 - looking forward to working in this great new environment with excitement.
